Lời giới thiệu: Cần Thơ Bridge & Hậu River | Mekong Delta | Vietnam [4K] Hậu river (Sông Hậu / Hậu Giang / Bassac) is a distributary of the Mekong River. The river flows through seven provinces in Vietnam: An Giang, Đồng Tháp, Vĩnh Long, Trà Vinh, Cần Thơ, Hậu Giang and Sóc Trăng. The Hậu river splits into two branches when it reaches Sóc Trăng province, then empties into the East Sea. Cần Thơ Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge over the Hậu (Bassac) river with a length of 2.75km. The bridge opened in April 2010. The bridge replaced the ferry linking Vĩnh Long Province on the east shore with Cần Thơ city on the westbank. In September 2007, during construction, a part of the Cần Thơ bridge collapsed. More than 50 people died in the incident.
